In keeping with this month’s focus on rhythmic vocal accompaniment, I thought I’d share a few clips of an amazing young duo from Brazil–Salomão Soares and Vanessa Moreno.
They’ve performed together in various groups and as solo artists as well. Moreno is also an accomplished guitarist.
These tunes are from their 2019 album Chao de Flutuar. The last is a beautiful Jobim tune. Enjoy!
