Jovino released a new original EP on August 1–Suite Delas–that’s well worth listening to. It’s unlike his great Bossa Nova/BrazilianGrooves classes here on PianoGroove. It shows his talent as a composer/arranger working with a string trio and a flautist. Each of the five tracks explores a different genre of Brazilian music: choro, xote, baiāo, valsa, and frevo.
