Anyone noticed a drastic change in Spotify? For the last couple of days, their algorithms have shifted. The music suggestions based on my browsing have disappeared. It’s recommendations are now about 90% podcasts and audiobooks with next to nothing about new suggestions for my musical interests.
I wrote them, and they said it’s their new iteration and it can’t be changed because they’re always making changes to better the experience. Well, the experience has degraded for me.
If you’re seeing the same thing I am, maybe you could write and complain as well. I started with Apple Music, but shifted to Spotify for the way they always suggested new and different artists. Now, it’s basically useless in terms of finding new music.
