After Jovino’s last seminar, I’ve been fooling around with Wayne Shorter’s “Infant Eyes.” I worked with a take that I liked and fiddled with it. Here’s what I came up with.
The first is a version using the VSL Fazioli F308 Player Sur. The second is a version using Logic Pro’s “Watery Rhodes” from its Vintage Piano section. An interesting sound.
These are by no means greatly done, but I started with PianoGroove with more than 40 years of never touching a keyboard, and now after a few years here thanks to Hayden, Tuomo, and Jovino I can at least enjoy playing this.
It’s rubato with a jazz tune that has no 251s. So anything goes
