Thanks for the comments to “Autumn Leaves”. Todays transcription is completely different.
“Song for Abdullah” is a solo piano ballad arrangement by Kenny Barron, dedicated to his friend Abdullah Ibrahim. Although the piece is written in the key of D-flat major, the main section is fairly easy to play. I slightly shortened the improvisation part and simplified it here and there to make it more playable for me.

Hey @cornelius.moser
Sorry for the late reply - I just got a chance to listen to this properly.
Lovely arrangement - I like how you sprinkle in dissonant and ‘crunchy’ voicings with the more open and resonant voicing styles. It’s a very nice balance of textures.
Your pedal work is clean and crisp in the solo section too. Very nicely done!
I think you should start a Spotify or YouTube channel and publish some of these arrangements as they are really beautiful.
Yes I think once we are comfortable with the key signature, it’s actually a nice key to play in. The scale is ergonomic and lends itself nicely to fast scale passages.
It sounds wonderful… Congrats on your progress!
