That was cool Adam ! I like the groove and your chord voicings and accents. You made it your own. Thanks Keep sharing

Wow cool groovy version with not the easiest song … thanks Adam !!
makes me want to take my bass and dance … love that
i love to “funkified” some jazz tune too
Did you inspire you from some version ?
Thanks Lori and Pierre. To answer your question. I usually get on Logic and click on random beats/loops at random tempos. Then I just adapt the songs I know to the rhythm. It’s usually a result of just clowning and experimenting.
This is great Adam. Thanks for sharing.
that was nice Adam. Fun…
can we post sound cloud links to the songs we learn on this site, or is there a better way…
feed back would be nice.
Hi Ben,
Yes we can post SoundCloud links to create an embedded song. Here are a couple of screenshots:
Step 1: click the share button:
Step 2: copy and paste this URL into the forum and the embed will automatically be created:
Make sure to post the URL on a separate line to create the embed. I posted this example in the other thread but here it is for others to see:
Cheers
We made a little demo of three songs I am learning

Lori. Wow. I loved all three videos but especially this one. Love your articulation. Thanks for the lovely duet.
Wow! Love your voicings and the expressiveness of your playing.
That’s not an easy tune Thanks for posting that Adam!
Thanks Adam. Love the mood, quite soothing and a lovely feel that you have in your playing… makes me want to look at this tune.
Wow some fantastic performances here. Thanks for sharing guys and girls!
@adam_powell - love the voicings and the inner voice movement in your arrangement. Really nice job and as @LoriNelson says, it’s a difficult tune! You might like the check out our lesson on “Cluster Voicings” which sound great with tunes written by Monk. We actually use his tune “Round Midnight” as an example in the lesson:

@LoriNelson and Kirk… loving these duo performances They all sound fantastic.
Emily is my favourite… Really nice job!
Wow great version the songs fits perfectly with you playing style, loved it !
Lori, you’ve got something going with this L&K thing. How lucky you are to have an on-site “backing track.” Very nice, thanks for sharing.
No kidding, Scott, I know I’m lucky, not only the bass playing, but getting so much personal lessons and guidance He constantly pushes me forward and way out of comfort zone, fortunately he is very patient as well as so generous musically. If it were not for MUSIC we would have gone nuts in this pandemic. LOL
Adam…you have a great touch on the piano! Thanks for sharing!
