Hi, just wondered is there a video on piano groove demonstrating fingerings of the major pentatonic scale? or if not does anyone else know good fingerings for 2 octaves in a few keys to get me started. mainly used major, modes & blues scales so far & not done much on the 5 notes pentatonic, there seems a bigger note gap from the ‘3’ to the ‘5’ or the ‘6’ to the ‘1’ in say, G maj pentatonic.

            Hi Niall
There is a really good web site called ‘Learn jazz scales for piano’ which will give you the fingering for pentatonic scales as well as the other scales. You can always change the fingering to suit yourself but it’s a good place to start. Hope this helps.

Brilliant resource @Charles_Hill - I will be directing students here in future as I occasionally receive questions about fingering and this is a very comprehensive set of fingerings.
