If anyone is visiting the Seattle area, try and catch a live performance of Jovino and his quinteto. Here’s a great studio performance of “Lamentos” :

I was lucky to see a live performance of Jovino’s quinteto at last year’s Earshot Jazz Festival in Seattle and it was a wonderful experience.

That’s awesome Scott - you will really enjoy the show. His quinteto was one of the best live performances I’ve seen.
