Lisa Ono (born 1962) is a Japanese/Brazilian vocalist and guitarist who has worked with Antonio Carlos Jobim and João Donato. Her new album, Sue Ann ~ Homage to Antonio Carlos Jobim was just released. It features 12 intimate, piano-duo recordings of Jobim’s masterpieces. Recorded with producer and pianist Masaki Hayashi, the album serves as a celebration of Jobim’s upcoming 100th birth anniversary in 2027. Saxophonist Sadao Watanabe appears on three tracks.
