While working on Jobim’s “Dindi,” I came across an interpretation by Emiliano Santiago that really grabbed my attention. Tuomo mentions in his lesson on “I Loves You Porgy” that you can learn a lot about emotion in phrasing by listening to vocal versions. That’s made quite clear in this clip. In places it gave me goosebumps.
