I’m posting this version of Jovino playing Hermato Pascoal’s “Bebê” because it ties in to a couple of my previous posts.
First, Jovino’s latest seminar was on “Exploring the Baião Groove on Piano,” and this tune is probably the best known example of a baião. Second, I posted a thread on May 21 about the Fazioli F308. The following bit of discussion with @gregb centered on its sounds compared with the Steinway D-274.
I recently found out that this version of the tune was played on a Fazioli.
So, here’s a brilliant example of a baião played on a Fazioli.
