Below you can find a list of the practice plans that are currently available, more will be created and added to the list below.

Each practice plan has a dedicated forum thread for further discussion and to find common questions and answers from our students and teachers.

1) Jazz Piano Foundations Course:

In our Foundations Course we cover the essential jazz theory such as scales, intervals triads, 7th chords, and the 251 progression. If you’re new to jazz piano, start here:

2) Extended Chords & Voicings Course

Our Extended Chords Course introduces the concept of extended harmony. We expand on the material in the foundations course by adding 9ths, 11ths, and 13ths to our chords and progressions. Download the practice plan here:

3) Mastering Left Hand Voicings Course

Our Left Hand Voicings Course introduces the concept of rootless harmony. When playing jazz piano, we can voice chords without the root to achieve different textures in our voicings. If you aspire to play in a jazz band, it’s important to understand rootless harmony. Download the practice plan here:

4) Altered Harmony & USTs

Our Altered Harmony Course introduces the concept of chord alterations. We can add b9s, #9s, #11s, and #5s/b13s to change the colour and flavour of our voicings and progressions. Download the practice plan here:
