The tunes in the upcoming course are:

The above “5 Minute Masterclass” lesson is just a taster, and the course contains more in-depth explanations and step-by-step demonstrations to get you all grooving over these classic Brazilian tunes :palm_tree::sunny::sunglasses:

Yes I agree @lucianoaita425004 … Jovino’s Brazilian rhythms and grooves will be a great addition to the website.

Great news guys… the whole “Brazilian Grooves” course has been recorded today.

Some really amazing insights into Brazilian music, bossa nova, samba, and a selection of wonderful Latin jazz standard arrangements.

Here’s a taster of the tutorial on “Corcovado”:

The 3 jazz standard lessons will be ready today or tomorrow:

  • Corcovado
  • The Girl From Ipanema
  • Wave

They are all compositions by Antonio Carlos Jobim and there will be full transcriptions for each of Jovino’s arrangements. It might take a little longer to produce these transcriptions due to the nature of notating Latin rhythms.

There are also 4 or 5 theory lessons which explain:

  • the background and history of Brazilian Music
  • Brazilian rhythm study
  • Brazilian grooves in major and minor keys
  • the role of the diminished chord in Brazilian music
  • inner voice movement
  • Soloing technique for Latin styles
